Human Resources Management Plan

“The resource management plan is “the component of the project management plan that provides guidance on how project resources should be categorized, allocated, managed, and released. It may be divided between the team management plan and physical resource management plan” (PMBOK® Guide—6th Edition, Page 318).

It establishes guidelines on what human resources for the project are required. The plan will determine the different roles, responsibilities and disciplines that need to manage all subjects in project.

The roles will be identified in alignment with the project organisation and the base line. The hiring process of project experts is the most crucial step as this will lead to how the project will be managed. The human resource management plan establishes guidelines on how the human resources for project management should be defined.

The whole process involves the staffing, managing, controlling and releasing of the appropriate human resources.
